Linux
Whether it's general consulting, system/network integration, optimization of an existing install, customization of a stock install, or just general support, my years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Linux systems can save you time and frustration.
Networking
I have worked on networks from small peer to peer LAN's to multi-topology WAN's with several thousand users and dozens of servers. Over the years of taking on various tasks associated with keeping a network computer system running I have amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience which is invaluable in providing solutions to complex networking problems.
WiFi
Looking to setup a hotspot for customers or trying to figure out how make a connection to the office across the street without leasing a line or otherwise running a wire? I am familiar with most stock wireless network devices. However, I specialize in creating custom firmware for units such as the Linksys WRT54G/GL and others.
Custom Programming
Since software licensing can be a significant cost involved with using computers, I recommend the use of Open Source software when it can clearly meet client needs.
Where a custom solution is required, the use of open source software can significantly reduce development time while providing software that can easily be
modified to meet future needs, even if a client chooses to use another programmer for future modifications.
