Using Internet Explorer?

Sorry to hear that....
In the past it's been reported that Internet Explorer Is Just Too Risky and Internet Explorer Is Too Dangerous to Keep Using.

Well, it is already there with Windoze and it's almost impossible to completely remove it. Then there is the fact that alot of websites out there are IE specific and just don't work right without it - usually because some naughty person made a Stupid Web Page that requires IE. But even as of 2006, Microsoft Drops The Ball on Internet Explorer 7 Standards Compliance and continues to ignore CSS standards.

This site does not run on IIS or use any MS extensions. I also don't go out of my way to code in a bunch of hacks just for Internet Explorer, so some things may not appear as expected. Since my latest check of the site logs still indicate that IE is the most used browser by visitors, please let me know if you encounter a problem.
My feelings on this are shared with LTSoftware. I generally don't bother with testing IE compatability, and since I've redesigned the site it may not work as intended in specialty browsers. For quite a while I made sure it was lynx text browser friendly. If it isn't currently I'll get around to fixing that along with possibly checking mobile device compatability.

For further reading and more recent info, I suggest the article on Wikipedia highlighting issues with IE. Regardless, I recommend Opera or Firefox/SeaMonkey as better alternatives to IE.

For an alternative to Windows, as well as other commercial software packages, check out the Alternate Software page.
