to maintain and improve technical competence and to undertake technological tasks for others only
if qualified by training or experience, or after full disclosure of pertinent limitations
to seek, accept, and offer honest criticism of technical work, to acknowledge and correct errors,
and to credit properly the contributions of others
to treat fairly all persons regardless of such factors as race, religion, gender, disability, age, or national origin;
to avoid injury to others, their property, reputation, or employment by false or malicious action
to only represent opinions as independent if they are free from subordinated judgment and there is no
undisclosed interest in the outcome of the client's decision.
to keep the client informed of any matters of interest relating to the contract even if the information is
unfavorable, or may jeopardize the contract.
to safeguard any confidential information or documents and not divulge any
confidential information without the consent of the client.
to not take advantage of proprietary information obtained from the client
to inform the client of the knowledge of any issues realized, in the course of fulfilling the contract,
related to the security of their system(s)
